HOW WE HIRE

A step-by-step guide to our hiring process – from your application to your first day.

STEP 1: APPLICATION & SCREENING

Preparing to apply for a job with our Distribution Centers? Here’s how to get started: 1. Learn about our current openings. 2. Determine which position aligns with your current skills, knowledge & education. 3. Complete an online application. 4. Once your application has been submitted, we’ll review it, then send you a link for a video interview if job and eligibility requirements are met. TIP: The information provided in your application will be used to correspond with you, so be sure to verify that all information is correct prior to submitting your application.

STEP 2: INTERVIEW

Ready to tell us why you’re a good fit for the role? Here's what you need to know to complete our video interview: 1. Learn more about Nike by watching a quick introductory video. 2. You have flexibility to complete the video interview within 72 hours (1-3 days) of receiving the link. Note: If you need additional time please email us (memrecruiting@nike.com). 3. Review your recording and submit your video interview. TIP: When preparing for your interview, check your internet connection and select a quiet location.

STEP 3: OFFER

Did you knock it out of the park? If so, you will be contacted by a recruiter to discuss the following next steps: 1. Verbal offer of employment 2. Pre-employment checks such as background and drug screening 3. Start Date confirmation and orientation TIP: You will have 72 hours to complete your pre-employment checks. We encourage you to complete this step as soon as possible so you can join our winning team at Nike.

STEP 4: FIRST DAY & ORIENTATION

Welcome to the team! You’ve officially joined our Nike roster and we’re happy to have you. Before your first day, be sure to do the following: 1. Complete all new hire forms. This information will come from SuccessFactors Onboarding and will be sent to the email listed on your application. 2. Review our new hire FAQ’s 3. Rest and prepare for a day of fun and excitement. TIP: Dress in your favorite Nike, Converse or Jordan gear.

DIANN MORGAN

OCCUPATIONAL NURSE, NIKE SHELBY APPAREL As Diann heads into her 20th year at Nike, her dedication has garnered her the highest safety ratings internally, year after year. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, she’s worked closely with Nike’s safety team to strategize and implement a Pandemic Crisis program – partnering with community agencies, securing PPE, adding sanitizing stations throughout the DCs, and organizing safety training sessions for employees. Diann has also been instrumental in increasing employee awareness around breast cancer, bringing a mobile mammography unit onsite for screening across the Mid-South.

TRANSPORTATION & CUSTOMS PROCESS ANALYST, LAAKDAL Three words that best describe Els: Positive, flexible & committed. A Nike teammate for 24 years, Els is the backbone of the Direct Shipments operations team. She’s a beacon of positivity, driven by an inspiring can-do mentality that has delivered results under pressure time and again. Where Els goes, her team follows, and she continues to create an outstanding work environment through selfless and supportive leadership.

Frans Smit

LOGISTICS PROJECT MANAGER, EMEA HQ OPS Three words that best describe Frans: Passionate, creative & entrepreneurial Frans leads with a world-class passion for the environment. He created and introduced groundbreaking NIKE digital shipping boxes and envelopes for EMEA, delivering a staggering 50% CO2 reduction — something all European consumers can get behind. He continues to create new ideas along the sustainability axis and brings fresh inspiration to a planet-changing initiative.

Audra Anderson

PRODUCTION SUPPORT DIRECTOR, NORTH AMERICA LOGISTICS CENTER Three words that best describe Audra: Trusted, passionate & strong Audra is an exceptional, innovative leader who has not only risen to the challenges of leading during a pandemic, but has also transformed her team into a truly global operation. She personifies the selfless, courageous and dedicated mindset of the TechOps front line, and continues to be a critical leader in helping the Memphis team adapt quickly to the rapidly-changing landscape of COVID-19.

Grounded in Nike’s deep belief in human potential, Starting Line creates a critical bridge between community, education and industry in the greater Memphis area.

Starting Line positions everyone to win. Through the program, the Nike team contributes their industry expertise and passion to deliver essential, readiness and technical skills training to community members—accelerating their access to opportunities. At the same time, the Nike team builds meaningful relationships with community members while sharpening their coaching, leadership and communication skills. After launching at the post-secondary level, Nike expanded Starting Line to Shelby County high schools. Over the course of the 2020-2021 academic year, over 30 Nike team members delivered over 100 sessions to 120 supply chain students on topics such as goal setting, effective communication, teamwork, Lean operations and safety
